Discovery Fire, located at Settlers Creek is a very unique property situated on a historic 10-acre farm recently honored by the U.S Department of Interior, National Park Service by listing Settlers Creek on the National Register of Historic Places. Located just 3 miles from Coeur d’Alene, Discovery Fire is the perfect getaway for a fantastic mid-week event with wood-fired foods, tasty and creative side dishes, great local and regional beers and wine, outdoor games/activities, and live entertainment.

The food, the staff and the entire grounds…absolutely spectacular! (The bark on the pork butt with the hint of maple flavor….stellar!!!!) The cornbread and chili….amazing! 4 different kinds of sausages (my favorite was the pepper jack), smoked chicken that was not overdone and still very moist….I was blown away at the quality of the food!
Don’t miss out walking the grounds…incredibly views, beautiful walks, playing cornhole or horse shoes and listening to live music. It’s an escape to the country and makes you forget about your “day” or your “week”….so incredibly worth it!
I recently had the pleasure of attending Discovery Fires soft opening, and let me tell you, it was a true feast for the senses! A fantastic experience. From the smoky meats to the vibrant salads and the incredible potato salad, every dish was a delight. I highly recommend attending this event if you get the chance!
Went to your event yesterday and can I just say it was amazing!! Can’t wait to go again! Our kids loved it as well! Thank you for bringing this to our community! The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful. 10 out of 10 would recommend it!
Happy to say, I have been twice already! Each time the food was outstanding. The people are wonderful and the setting is hard to beat. Enjoy the music while trying all the delicious flavors. It’s a great experience for a nice summer evening.
